2018 was a good good year! I met so many awesome brides and i want to thank them all for choosing to wear one of my designs on the most important day of their life. For the brides i never got to meet, i thank you too. A 2018 favorite look is just impossible to say, when every piece i make has just as much love and passion put into it as the other, how can i chose? But i can say that 2018 had one major professional and personal highlight, the wedding of Natalie and Michel. She is one of my closest friends and i was one of her bridesmaids, i was also pregnant but i danced all night in heels, i guess i was high on the love and energy that day.
Natalie for those who know her well, would describe her as half princess half unicorn. She lives for the magic of love with a colorful and sassy edge. So when she asked me to make her a princess crown fit for a unicorn bride, my heart dropped because it was unlike my character and unique to my designs. But how could i not grant her one wish from me?
Here are a few pictures from Natalie’s big day! Wearing a custom Belles By Raquel crown
Once, twice, three times a lady! And that lady celebrated her love across 3 different continents, each time adorned with a different head piece from our Spring/Summer 2018 collection. I was also so lucky to accessorize her bridesmaids at the Vancouver affair.
Nothing sort of Pinterest worth images from my stunning bride Atoussa
Dance, Laugh, Love and Drink lotta Wine. That quite summarizes Sarah and Chadi’s big day celebrated with their closest friends and family. Sarah wore a long flower and pearl hair vine with gold accents along the side of her relaxed half up do, it complemented beautifully her lace dress.

Lina and Christian, you can tell they’re a duo that can tick all the “5 things successful couple have” list! Gathering their nearest and dearest at Le Télégraphe de Belle Vue in Lebanon, they celebrated their union in a beautiful night under the stars, full of balloons, flowers and sparklers. Wearing a stunning off the shoulder ball gown and our floral hair vines, Lina looked like modern princess.
Our favorite moment was a balloon send off by their guests when the couple met for the first time at the wedding, it was so beautiful.
Although i never met Lina in person, i loved her vibe and when i saw her wedding pictures, i was right all along!
“I religiously followed Belles By Raquel on Instagram up until I had to choose my piece and it was a tough decision because all the pieces were beautiful like seriously there was not one piece that I wouldn’t want to own. What I love about my experience with Raquel, it was very personal and genuine. You can see from her social media presence that she is not there just to make a sale, she appreciates every bride as a friend. She gets excited for you as if you’ve known each other for ages. I did not meet Raquel or see the piece in person before buying it but not once was I worried about the quality of the piece. The packaging was so elegant and finally seeing the box I was so excited when I received it. Even though she discloses that some changes might occur to the headpiece over time, I can confidently say that my head piece after a hot and humid summer wedding remained undamaged. ”
When i met Nada i thought to myself, what a sweet heart! working with her on a headpiece for her engagement was just lovely. Wearing an orange retro inspired dress with a statement side bow by Bambah, we had room to add colored stones into the headpiece and the overall look was beautifully coordinated.
Surrounded by her nearest and dearest, the early summer day affair was so fresh and so full of love! Won’t you agree?
How effin’ elegant is this bride? Her day was something out of a perfect mood board and just wait till you see her couture ball gown by Maison Lesley!
There’s an air of modern majesty in Kristel’s bridal look. From her makeup and hair adorned with a custom Belles By Raquel floral pearl crown to her edgy layered necklace, a perfect mix of modern fashion bae and princess bride. Whether it was her embroidered lace wedding dress or her “i am so in love” smile , we could stare at these beautiful photos for eternity!
They say it’s always spring when you are in love and Rita’s bridal look is all the inspiration you need for this springtime affair. She created a day that was naturally beautiful, romantic and just perfect. But for me it was all about her hair! Her light brown locks were styled in an elegant half up do and adorned with a pearl and flower hair vine pinned at the back.
Michelle had a picture perfect wedding at Villa Cimbrone in the picturesque town of Ravello. She wore a beautiful Georges Hobeika dress with floral lace details and made her a custom rhinestone and pearl headpiece to match the dress details.
Iman and Mohamad got married on 20 January, 2018 at the Waldorf Astoria The Palm Dubai. A fairy tale of their own, two lovely humans who are very much in love. You can see and sense the love surrounding them in the eyes of their friends, families and loved ones. Vive L’Amour!
Iman was dressed in Youssef Kamoun, her hair was styled by Roger Daniel and adorned with a custom Belles By Raquel headpiece designed to match her couture gown. The most beautiful moments were captured by Morgan Lynn Razi , a collection of Instagram worthy pictures to last them a life time.
