Michelle, In Love

Michelle had a picture perfect wedding at Villa Cimbrone in the picturesque town of Ravello. She wore a beautiful Georges Hobeika dress with floral lace details and made her a custom rhinestone and pearl headpiece to match the dress details.

That’s Amore

The perfect Tuscan venue {Real Bride}

I attended a friend’s intimate wedding at one of the prettiest venues in Italy, Borgo Corsignano. Set between the hills of Casentini in the charming village of Poppi, the romantic retreat is exactly what a bride needs to have a perfect Tuscan wedding.

The venue welcomed the guests in renovated villas with terracotta tile floors, country side interiors and fireplaces. So charming! Here are some images i took during my stay

La Dolce Vita!

Bridal Maven {Joe Chedrawi}

They say life is like a camera, you focus on what’s important and capture the good times. Great photographers do just that and i’m very happy that Joe Chedrawi will be contributing on a regular basis with the weddings he’s covered from Beirut to NYC.

But first let’s get to know Joe

Q: When and why did you decide to take wedding photography as your profession?

I used to work as a financial consultant but never really enjoyed it, constantly envying people whose work allows them to stay outdoors and simply doing what they love, so i took the first step into making photography my profession. Today i am grateful I do what i do, turning happy moments in people’s lives into long life memories.

Q:What is your wedding photography philosophy?

Feel with the couple, their happiness, their reservations; create a bond with them so they allow me to capture these special emotions and represent it in a picture or a film

Q:How do you approach a camera shy couple?

Most of my clients are camera shy so by today i have learnt to take my time and help make them feel comfortable around me. When the couple realizes that camera shy does not translate to un-photogenic pictures, we get to a stage where they are no longer sensitive to the presence of a stranger taking photos of their intimate moments

Q:What is your favorite wedding destination? Any wish lists?

I am lucky that I’ve been to my favorites to date; Paris, New York, Tuscany and Santorini. In the future maybe a wedding in India, Russia or Cuba?

Q:If you are to work with one camera for the next 10 years which would it be?

No doubt a Leica M! These cameras are made to be simple, the ease and simplification of technicalities allows photographers to concentrate on their subject rather than the instrument at hand.

Real Belle Bride {Marguerite}

When your wedding details include a Tuscan courtyard, a neo-renaissance ballroom and garden historically visited by Queens then you are our uber romantic and classy bride Marguerite.

Her reception was held at the charming villa Fattoria Di Maiano a few kilometers away from the picturesque views of Florence and if this isn’t enough to make you swoon, the couple hosted their rehearsal dinner at Villa Mangiacane, a 15th century winery villa built for the Machiavelli family with rumors that Michelangelo himself participated in the design!

For her look, Marguerite chose an ivory Oscar de la Renta strapless with delicate flowers and styled her hair with our Diamond Dust rhinestone hair vine. Her adorable flower girls were dressed by The Bridal Showroom.

Here are our favorite picks from this wedding ❤

Real Belle Bride {Dalia}

“And we finally reached the beginning” is how Dalia shared the first image from her island destination wedding . Cool, collected and colorful is how i would describe this artistic couple. Dalia wore a purple toned flower and pearl crown from our best selling Lou Fleur collection.

Real Belle Bride {Samah}

For all the brides dreaming of a charming destination wedding under the tuscan sun, we would like to add our real bride Samah’s wedding venue, Catello di Vicarello to your list. Can anything be more perfect than having a castle surrounded by enchanting olive gardens as the backdrop to say your I Dos?

Samah chose an ethereal chiffon dress with gold details, wore her hair in a low and lose messy bun which she styled with a BellesByRaquel champagne toned Lou Fleur crown ❤
